Tamala H. Close is a Dallas, Texas Native. She received her Undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and is a graduate of the illustrious Southern University A & M's Speech-Language Pathology Program. She is the Owner of Close to Perfection Speech Therapy Services, LLC, which contracts with various SNFs, charter schools, and online charter schools. She is also the Director of Clinical Services for Diagnostic Assessment Services, Inc. Tamala is the founder of SLP Private Practice in Color Facebook Group to provide a space for resources, networking, and mentorship for clinicians who decided to step out on faith and form their own practice. She urges us all to utilize this platform and be a stepping stone and constant resource for each other.
