Melissa Kurrle graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2014 with a BA in modern languages, Spanish emphasis, and a minor in linguistics. She completed her MA in speech-language pathology at the University of Kansas in 2017 (Rock Chalk!). Melissa started her career in SNF in Flagstaff, AZ, with patients who come from a variety of socioeconomic and culturally diverse backgrounds. She currently loves working in outpatient therapy back in her home state of Colorado. Melissa’s favorite parts of the speech world are aphasia and dysphagia. Prior to her career in speech-language pathology, she was a massage therapist for 15 years. Her hobbies include riding vintage Italian scooters, traveling, going to the gym, backpacking, canyoneering, kayaking, camping, and whatever other outdoor adventure comes her way. Unlimited
