Karen Edwards began her career as a Social Worker working in a variety of settings including residential treatment, community mental health, schools, and private group practice. She took a break to be at home with her two young sons. Upon returning to the workforce, she changed her career focus and returned to school to pursue a Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She has spent the last six years working as a school-based SLP, grades K-12. In November, she took the opportunity to change positions and work as a school-based Social Worker, currently servicing seven district elementary schools. Unlimited
