Christa Likes attended the University of South Carolina as a biology and medical ethics major. She then graduated as Valedictorian from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2002 with a Master of Science and Rehabilitation degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Christa completed her clinical fellowship year under the supervision of Dr. Bonnie Martin-Harris at MUSC in 2002. She has also worked at Spartanburg Regional Hospital and Duke University Hospital in adult acute care and head and neck cancer. She later joined Greenville Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in 2010 when she and her husband moved back to the Upstate of SC. Christa specializes in the evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders for patients with head and neck cancer.
